The Basics – Establishing Classifications

Every two years, TAPPS reorganizes our schools into classifications based on high school enrollment. This new alignment cycle takes effect in the Fall during each even-numbered year. The purpose is to divide schools into competitive groupings that will allow schools to compete for state championships. This process is governed and delineated by the TAPPS By-Laws in Section 57-62.
