Sportsmanship

Sportsmanship is playing fair, being a gracious winner, losing without excuse or complaint and treating all coaches, players, game officials and other fans with courtesy, generosity, respect and genuine concern. These ideals represent the beneficial and productive role that interscholastic activities bring to your total school program.

Good sportsmanship is a critical component in providing a positive and safe environment for players, coaches, officials and fans at all athletic contests. It is each TAPPS member school’s responsibility to model, teach and require good sportsmanship from all in attendance.
